EHM Tech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Shop44 mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN

Shop44 is designed with your privacy as the top priority. All sales tax calculations, discount math, shopping lists, and budget tracking are performed and stored entirely on your device. Your purchase and financial data is never transmitted to our servers.

Data stored locally on your device includes:

  • Saved calculations (name, tax rate, discount rate, optional budget)
  • Shopping list items (item name, unit price, quantity, per-item tax and discount rates, checked-off status)
  • Active calculation selection
  • Trial reminder schedule and notification preference
  • App settings (theme, language, onboarding progress, launch counts)

We do not collect, store, or have access to your calculations, shopping lists, budgets, prices, or any other information you enter into the App.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or tracking data.

The App may occasionally present the platform's standard review prompt or open the App Store / Google Play so you can leave a review. Those interactions are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies — we do not receive any personal data from them.

3. NO ADVERTISING

Shop44 does not display any advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect or share data with advertisers. Your experience is ad-free.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES

Payment Processing: If you purchase a Premium subscription, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information.

Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat uses anonymous user IDs — no user accounts are required. RevenueCat collects:

  • App usage events (app opened, subscription screens viewed)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Transaction data (purchase receipts, subscription status)
  • Last seen time in app

5. DATA RETENTION

Your saved calculations, shopping lists, reminders, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is deleted.

Anonymous subscription data is retained by RevenueCat according to RevenueCat's privacy policy. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

6. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To send free-trial reminder notifications, such as an alert before your trial ends
  • Internet: Required for subscription purchase validation and management

All permissions are optional (except internet for subscription features) and can be managed in your device settings.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Right to access information we hold about you
  • Right to request deletion of your data
  • Right to data portability

Because your data is stored only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly — for example, by deleting saved calculations in the App or uninstalling it.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
