EHM Tech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Bills44 mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN

Bills44 is designed with your privacy as the top priority. All subscription tracking, spend calculations, renewal reminders, calendar views, and statistics are performed and stored entirely on your device. Your subscription and financial data is never transmitted to our servers.

Data stored locally on your device includes:

  • Subscriptions (name, cost, currency, billing cycle and count, anchor and end dates, brand color, status, archive flag, optional note)
  • Categories (user-defined groupings with name, color, optional icon, sort order)
  • Reminders (per-subscription day-offset and time-of-day reminders, enabled state, scheduled notification ids)
  • Reminder state (notification permission status, exact-alarm handling, trial reminder dismissal)
  • App settings (theme, language, onboarding progress, launch tracking, review prompt state, subscription status)

We do not collect, store, or have access to your subscriptions, costs, renewal dates, categories, notes, or any other subscription-related information you enter into the App.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

While your subscription data remains private on your device, we collect limited technical data to improve the App:

  • Anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) to understand how features are used
  • Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to identify and fix app stability issues
  • Purchase data for subscription management (via RevenueCat)
  • Device identifiers for fraud prevention and entitlement validation (via RevenueCat)

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are enabled only in release builds and are disabled during development. This data helps us improve app stability and user experience. It does not include your subscriptions, costs, renewal dates, categories, notes, or other subscription-related data.

3. NO ADVERTISING

Bills44 does not display any advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect or share data with advertisers. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access the IDFA. Your experience is ad-free.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES

Payment Processing: If you purchase a Premium subscription, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information.

Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat uses anonymous user IDs — no user accounts are required. RevenueCat collects:

  • App usage events (app opened, subscription screens viewed)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Transaction data (purchase receipts, subscription status)
  • Last seen time in app

5. SUPPORT CONTACT DATA

If you contact us for support through the App, the support email may include technical information to help us assist you:

  • App version
  • Operating system version
  • Device model
  • Timezone
  • Anonymous RevenueCat App User ID (used to look up your purchase entitlements for support)

This information is only collected when you choose to initiate contact and is used solely to provide support.

6. DATA RETENTION

Your subscriptions, categories, reminders, theme preference, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is deleted.

Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's data retention policies. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

7. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To send subscription renewal reminders and trial-related alerts
  • Exact Alarms (Android): To schedule precise renewal reminders at your preferred times
  • Boot Completed (Android): To re-schedule reminders after your device restarts
  • Internet: Required for analytics, crash reporting, and subscription validation

All permissions are optional (except internet for core functionality) and can be managed in your device settings.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Right to access information we hold about you
  • Right to request deletion of your data
  • Right to limit analytics via your device privacy settings
  • Right to data portability

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
