EHM Tech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ClockWage44 mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN

ClockWage44 is designed with your privacy as the top priority. All shift tracking, job data, paycheck estimates, deductions, and tax calculations are performed and stored entirely on your device. Your work and pay data is never transmitted to our servers.

Data stored locally on your device includes:

  • Jobs (name, hourly rate, US state, filing status, overtime settings, week start day)
  • Shifts (start/end times, break duration, notes, per-shift rate overrides)
  • Paycheck estimates (date ranges, gross/net pay, tax breakdowns, deductions, additional income)
  • Tax profile (default state, filing status, pay period, extra withholding)
  • Reminders (clock-in / clock-out schedules)
  • App settings (theme, language, onboarding progress)

We do not collect, store, or have access to your jobs, shifts, paycheck estimates, earnings, tax information, or any other work-related information you enter into the App.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

While your work and pay data remains private on your device, we collect limited technical data to improve the App:

  • Anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) to understand how features are used
  • Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to identify and fix app stability issues
  • Purchase data for subscription management (via RevenueCat)
  • Device identifiers for fraud prevention and entitlement validation (via RevenueCat)

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are enabled only in release builds and are disabled during development. This data helps us improve app stability and user experience. It does not include your jobs, shifts, paycheck estimates, or any earnings information.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS, the App requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). You can decline this request, and the App will function normally without it.

3. NO ADVERTISING

ClockWage44 does not display any advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect or share data with advertisers. Your experience is ad-free.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES

Payment Processing: If you purchase a Pro subscription, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information.

Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat uses anonymous user IDs — no user accounts are required. RevenueCat collects:

  • App usage events (app opened, subscription screens viewed)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Transaction data (purchase receipts, subscription status)
  • Last seen time in app

5. GOOGLE FONTS

The App loads fonts from the Google Fonts CDN. When fonts are requested, your device makes a network connection to Google's servers, which may receive:

  • Your device's IP address
  • Browser/app user agent string

6. SUPPORT CONTACT DATA

If you contact us for support through the App, the support email may include technical information to help us assist you:

  • App version
  • Operating system version
  • Device model
  • Timezone

This information is only collected when you choose to initiate contact and is used solely to provide support.

7. DATA RETENTION

Your shifts, jobs, paycheck estimates, tax profile, reminders, and settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is deleted.

Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's data retention policies. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

8. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To send clock-in / clock-out reminders and custom schedule notifications
  • Exact Alarms: To schedule precise reminder notifications at your preferred times
  • Boot Completed: To re-schedule reminders after your device restarts
  • Internet: Required for analytics, crash reporting, subscription validation, and loading fonts from the Google Fonts CDN

All permissions are optional (except internet for core functionality) and can be managed in your device settings.

9. EXPORT AND SHARING

The App allows you to export your shifts and paycheck estimates as CSV or PDF, or share them via the operating system's share sheet. When you use these features, your data is processed locally on your device and then passed to the OS share functionality. We do not access, intercept, or store any exported data.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Right to access information we hold about you
  • Right to request deletion of your data
  • Right to limit analytics via your device privacy settings
  • Right to data portability

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
