PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: October 21, 2025
Effective date: October 21, 2025
EHM Tech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Paycheck Calculator (US) mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
You can review the most current version of this Privacy Policy at https://www.ehm-tech.com/paycheck-calculator/privacy/.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
All data we collect is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We collect information about you and your device when you use the App. While this information is legally classified as "personal data" or "personal information" because it can be linked to your device or account, it is entirely anonymous and does not reveal your real-world identity. We collect this information to operate core functionality, deliver advertising, and analyze how the App is used.
1.0 ANONYMOUS DATA COLLECTION
The App collects only anonymous technical data that cannot identify you as an individual. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any information that could reveal your real-world identity. All data is tied only to randomly generated device identifiers that do not contain personally identifiable information.
1.1 DEVICE IDENTIFIERS AND TECHNICAL DATA
When you launch or interact with the App, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Mobile device identifiers (including Google Advertising ID, Android ID, iOS Identifier for Vendors),
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate location derived from it (country, region, city level),
- Device characteristics (model, hardware type, operating system version, language, screen resolution, network type), and
- Diagnostic information such as crash logs, error traces, and performance metrics.
1.2 APP USAGE AND ANALYTICS EVENTS
We log events about how you use the App, including screens viewed, buttons tapped, feature configurations, session timestamps, frequency of use, and interactions with in-app messaging. These events are associated with the device identifiers listed above so that we can understand trends over time.
1.3 ADVERTISING AND MONETIZATION DATA
When ads are requested or shown, our advertising partners receive:
- Advertising identifiers and other device identifiers,
- IP address and coarse location,
- Information about ad requests, impressions, views, clicks, and reward completions,
- App usage context (for example, which screen you were on when an ad requested), and
- Signals about whether you have limited ad tracking or consented to tracking where required.
1.4 PURCHASE AND SUBSCRIPTION DATA
If you make in-app purchases, our commerce provider RevenueCat collects and processes:
- App Store or Google Play receipts and transaction identifiers,
- Product identifiers, price, currency, and purchase timestamps,
- Platform account identifiers supplied by Apple or Google, and
- Subscription status (active, canceled, trial) and renewal history.
1.5 DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
The App is designed to be completely anonymous. We do NOT collect the following information directly from you through the App:
- Names or usernames,
- Email addresses,
- Phone numbers,
- Physical addresses,
- Precise (GPS-level) location data,
- Social security numbers,
- Bank account or payment card numbers,
- Contact lists, or
- Photos or media files stored on your device.
1.6 LOCALLY STORED DATA
The App stores your paycheck calculation inputs (income, deductions, tax settings) locally on your device using device storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device through our systems,
- Is not transmitted to our servers,
- Is not accessible to us, and
- Can be cleared by uninstalling the App or resetting the App's storage.
Because the analytics, advertising, and purchase SDKs described below are essential to App functionality, we initialize them when you launch the App. In regions where required, we display a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and provide an in-app "Your Privacy Choices" entry to revisit your selections. If you decline consent where applicable, we request non-personalized ads when supported. You can also use the platform controls described in Section 7 or contact us so we can relay your preference to our partners.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information described in Section 1 to:
- Improve App functionality and user experience
- Identify and fix bugs and crashes
- Understand which features are most popular
- Display relevant advertisements
- Generate aggregated usage statistics
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We disclose the categories of data described in Section 1 to the service providers listed below so they can perform analytics, advertising, crash diagnostics, and purchase management on our behalf. These vendors process personal data as independent controllers or processors under their own privacy policies. They may combine the data we provide with information collected from other apps, websites, or offline sources.
3.1 GOOGLE FIREBASE (ANALYTICS & CRASHLYTICS)
- Purpose: Measure feature usage, diagnose crashes, and analyze performance trends.
- Data shared: Device identifiers (Advertising ID, Instance ID), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device metadata (model, OS, language), in-app events (screens viewed, buttons tapped, configuration changes), crash logs, and diagnostic traces.
- Retention & controls: Firebase retains analytics events for up to 14 months and crash logs for as long as needed to investigate issues. You can limit analytics collection by adjusting device-level privacy settings (for example, resetting the advertising identifier or disabling analytics in your OS privacy menus) or by contacting us so we can flag your identifiers with Firebase.
- Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
3.2 GOOGLE ADMOB (ADVERTISING)
- Purpose: Request, render, and report on banner and rewarded advertisements. AdMob may mediate requests to third-party ad networks to increase fill rate.
- Data shared: Google Advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address, coarse location, device metadata, ad request and response details, impression and click data, reward completion status, and indicators about personalized-ad consent or limited ad tracking preferences.
- Mediation: When AdMob mediation selects a partner such as Meta Audience Network to serve an ad, that partner receives the device and ad-request data listed above to deliver and measure the ad, and processes it under its own privacy policy.
- Additional uses: Google may use this data to personalize ads across other apps and services. Personalization depends on the preferences you set through Google Play Services, the device-level advertising settings, or any regional consent dialogs Google surfaces. If you decline consent where applicable, we request non-personalized ads; an in-app "Your Privacy Choices" entry is available in regions where required.

- Meta Audience Network Privacy Policy (mediated partner): https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
3.3 REVENUECAT (PURCHASE MANAGEMENT)
- Purpose: Validate in-app purchases, manage subscription status, and synchronize entitlements across devices.
- Data shared: App Store or Google Play purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, price and currency, purchase timestamps, platform account identifiers supplied by Apple or Google, IP address, device metadata, and inferred country.
- Retention & controls: RevenueCat retains purchase history for as long as you maintain an active entitlement or as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Contact us to request access or deletion and we will relay the request to RevenueCat where permitted by platform rules.
- Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
3.4 APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY (iOS)
On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, we surface Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt shortly after launch to determine whether we may access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for ad personalization. Firebase and AdMob initialize when the App opens, but Apple blocks access to the IDFA if you decline the prompt. Ads may still appear, relying on contextual signals or other identifiers Apple permits (such as the Identifier for Vendors). We do not offer a separate in-app tracking toggle; however, where required you can revisit advertising consent via "Your Privacy Choices" in the App.
3.5 USER MESSAGING PLATFORM (CONSENT MANAGEMENT)
- We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent in applicable regions (for example, the EEA and UK).
- At launch, we check whether consent is required and show the UMP consent form if needed before requesting ads. You can revisit your selections via the in-app "Your Privacy Choices" entry when UMP indicates it should be shown.
- When consent is not granted, we request non-personalized ads where supported. Some measurement may still occur in accordance with Google policies and your platform settings.
4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We share the categories of personal information described in Section 1 with trusted partners so they can provide analytics, advertising, diagnostics, cloud hosting, and purchase management on our behalf. All shared data is anonymous and consists only of device identifiers and technical information that cannot identify you personally. These disclosures allow the App to function, display ads, award rewards, and synchronize purchases across devices.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We disclose anonymous device identifiers, IP-derived location, app usage events, and purchase history only to:
- Google Firebase and Crashlytics for analytics, performance monitoring, and crash diagnostics,
- Google AdMob and related Google advertising services for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention,
- Meta Audience Network (via AdMob mediation) for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention,
- RevenueCat for validating purchases and managing subscription entitlements, and
- Platform providers (such as Apple and Google) when required to complete transactions, comply with platform policies, or investigate fraud or security incidents.
Where possible, we aggregate or de-identify data before sharing insights. However, some disclosures include persistent identifiers tied to your device or account because the recipient needs them to deliver the requested service. We may also disclose personal information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect our users and the App.
5. DATA SECURITY
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. DATA RETENTION
Firebase Analytics retains event data for up to 14 months. Google AdMob retains advertising and measurement data as described in its privacy policies. Meta Audience Network retains advertising and measurement data as described in its privacy policies. Purchase records managed by RevenueCat persist for as long as required to manage your entitlements and comply with accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. Local data on your device persists until you delete the App or clear the App's data.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Although all data we collect is anonymous and cannot identify you personally, depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or opt out of the personal information we and our service providers process about your use of the App. Because Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and RevenueCat associate device and purchase identifiers with your activity, we can help you exercise these rights and will relay validated requests to those partners.
7.1 ACCESS, PORTABILITY, AND CONFIRMATION
You may request a copy of the personal information we process, along with a list of the third parties that received it. Email support@ehm-tech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request – Access" and include:
- The email address or support ticket ID you have used with us, if any,
- Your device operating system (iOS or Android),
- The device or advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), and
- The approximate date range of App use and any purchase receipts you want us to review.
We will use this information only to verify your identity, retrieve associated records from Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and RevenueCat, and respond within the deadlines required by applicable law (generally 30 days, extendable to 45 days when allowed).
7.2 DELETION, CORRECTION, AND RESTRICTION
To request deletion, correction, or restriction of personal information, email support@ehm-tech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request – Deletion" (or the applicable right) and provide the same identifiers described above. After verifying your identity, we will:
- Remove or anonymize any data we control directly,
- Forward your request to Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and RevenueCat so that they delete or restrict the associated device identifiers, analytics events, advertising logs, or purchase records where permitted by their policies and applicable law, and
- Notify you once the vendors confirm completion or explain any portion we are unable to fulfill.
Local paycheck inputs stored on your device can be cleared at any time by deleting the App or resetting its storage.
7.3 OPT-OUT AND OBJECTION OPTIONS
The App does not include in-App privacy switches. You can manage how advertising and analytics apply to your device by:
- Contacting us at support@ehm-tech.com to request that we limit analytics or advertising for your device identifiers and to have us relay those requests to Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or RevenueCat on your behalf,
- On iOS: navigating to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track," and
- On Android: opening Settings > Google > Ads and selecting "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
7.4 DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers or operating systems send Do Not Track signals. Because tracking takes place within the App environment and not across websites, we currently do not respond to these signals. You can use the controls above to limit data sharing.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete that information and terminate the associated identifiers.
The App does not require account creation or user-generated content. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us should contact support@ehm-tech.com so we can assist with deletion.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
The data collected by third-party services may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws.
By using the App, you consent to the transfer of personal information to these countries as needed for the services described above.
10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively "CCPA") grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories described in Section 1, which correspond to: identifiers (device and advertising IDs, IP address), internet or network activity information (app usage events, ad interactions), approximate geolocation derived from IP, and commercial information (purchase receipts and subscription status). We collect these categories from you and your device, and disclose them to the partners listed in Section 3.
Your rights include the ability to:
- Request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, the purposes for which we collected it, and the categories of third parties that received it;
- Request deletion of personal information, subject to the exceptions allowed by law;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, but we do share device identifiers with Google AdMob and with mediated partners such as Meta Audience Network for advertising measurement, which you may opt out of; and
- Request that we limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA).
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@ehm-tech.com with the information described in Section 7. We will confirm receipt, verify your request, and respond within 45 days (or notify you if we need additional time, up to 90 days total). You may designate an authorized agent by providing us with written authorization and sufficient information to verify the agent's identity. If you are under 16, we do not sell or share your personal information without an authorized opt-in from you (if aged 13–15) or your parent or guardian (if under 13).
You can also opt out of personalized advertising by using the device settings described in Section 7.3; we will honor those signals and notify Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network of your preference. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights, such as by charging different prices or providing different levels of service unless permitted by law.
11. EUROPEAN PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR)
EHM Tech LLC is the controller of your personal data when you use the App in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to certain processing, including profiling for direct marketing. Where we rely on consent (for example, App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS) you may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will instruct our partners to cease the related processing.
You can exercise these rights by contacting support@ehm-tech.com and providing the identifiers listed in Section 7 so we can verify your request. We will respond within one month and may extend the period by two additional months when necessary, informing you of the reasons for any delay. If you believe our response is inadequate, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process personal information under the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to validate purchases, provide entitlements, and deliver the services you request;
- Legitimate interests: to maintain and improve App functionality, prevent fraud, secure our services, and understand usage trends, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms; and
- Consent: where required before accessing device identifiers for personalized advertising or analytics (for example, App Tracking Transparency on iOS or ad personalization preferences on Android).
13. DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
We are not currently required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. For privacy inquiries, contact: support@ehm-tech.com
14. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (for example, a court or a government agency), as well as to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App with an updated "Last updated" date.
Significant changes will be notified through:
- An in-app notification
- A prominent notice within the App
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
16. PRIVACY POLICY ACCEPTANCE
By using the Paycheck Calculator (US) App, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our App.

We honor applicable requests we receive from those jurisdictions using the same verification and response process outlined in Section 7, including relaying requests to our service providers when required.
19. AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users.
