Summary

  • All inputs and calculations happen on your device; results stay on your device.
  • We collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports to improve the app (see Third-Party Services below).

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or user content. However, we collect:

  • Anonymous analytics: General app usage data (e.g., app opens, screen views) without personal identifiers.
  • Crash reports: Technical data about app crashes, including device model, OS version, and stack traces.

On-Device Processing and Local Storage

  • All work hour tracking, income calculations, and overtime computations are processed locally on your device.
  • Your jobs, shifts, breaks, and settings are stored locally in an on-device database. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.
  • Minimal app settings (for example, theme or preferences) may be stored locally using the platform's key-value storage (e.g., SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., app opens, screen views). All personalization and advertising consent settings are disabled. No personal identifiers or advertising data are collected or shared. This data helps us understand general app usage patterns to improve the app.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic data when the app encounters an error. This includes device information (model, OS version), stack traces, and crash logs. No personal data or user content is included in crash reports. This data helps us identify and fix bugs.

  • The app may present a platform review prompt or open the App Store/Google Play to leave a review (via the system). Any interaction there is governed by Apple/Google policies. We do not receive any personal data from those interactions.

Permissions

  • Notifications: The app may request permission to send local notifications for clock-in/clock-out reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any network communication.
  • The app does not request sensitive device permissions beyond what is required for basic operation.

Export and Sharing

The app allows you to export your data (e.g., PDF reports, CSV files) or share it via email or other apps. When you use these features, your data is processed locally and then passed to the operating system's share functionality. We do not access, intercept, or store any exported data.

Data Sharing and Selling

We do not share, sell, or rent any data to third parties.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The anonymous analytics and crash data we collect cannot identify individual users.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local data stored on your device (jobs, shifts, breaks, and settings) remains until you uninstall the app or clear its data from system settings.

Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's data retention policies. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

Security

Local data is stored using operating system facilities. Please protect your device (e.g., lock screen, OS updates) to maintain security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
